Anglesea Clinic Urgent Care is currently experiencing severe staffing shortages across both clinical and non-clinical roles.
Despite the team’s best efforts, they have been unable to fill vacancies and do not have enough doctors to be clinically safe at all times.
Over the weekend there were three hours they could not open due to unsafe staffing levels. They had staff working reception and reviewing the inbox, working at the door etc but had to advise patients to come back later or re-direct them to ED/St John as required.
They will use Emergency Consult where possible but unless they fill vacancies they may at times have to re-direct patients. Please consider letting patients know they can check the Anglesea Urgent Care Facebook page, or phone ahead, to check availability before attending.
It’s great to finish 2020 on a high thanks to the hard work of our B4 School Check nurses. Your efforts have helped ensure children are receiving their B4SCs on time and this couldn't happen without you all, it’s a real team effort.
