Michelle Honey has a clinical background in cardio-thoracic nursing and extensive experience in nursing education. She has been active in nursing informatics in New Zealand since the early 1990s with the original Nursing Informatics New Zealand (NINZ) organization, taking various leadership roles across the years. She has continued to support the development of digital health in New Zealand and is involved within the international nursing informatics community.
