Te Whatu Ora Waikato nurse entry to practice (NETP) programmes are a supported transition to the role of registered nurse. New graduate nurses are selected from New Zealand training centres through the ACE recruitment programme.
For the Waikato region, this occurs in February and September of each year.
If you are interested in recruiting a new graduate registered nurse from the September 2024 intake, or would like more information, please contact the Pinnacle nurse leads by 7 June. (Te Whatu Ora's closing date for confirmed places is 21 June).
Please note, the Pinnacle new graduate nurse programme places for 2024 are filled, so this added support programme will not be available again until February 2025.
