This is not an acute or crisis service and is therefore not the best option for individuals requiring urgent assistance.

The Primary Mental Health Brief Intervention Service funds one GP counselling sessions/consultations for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. The service provides funding to GPs for acute mental health support to those presenting with an acute mental health need or to be able to fund safe follow up for someone with a mental health need.
